As with all of the boats in the Baysport range, the 640 Sports features the innovative concave tunnel which increases the water flow reaching the propeller blades. The increased water flow improves fuel efficiency as the hull is able to come on to the plane quicker. The foam filled fibreglass stringer system adds strength to the hull and gives a quieter ride.
Inside the 640 Sports, the cabin has full length cloth covered bunks and padded backrests. The large front hatch allows easy access to the anchor locker from the cabin. A curved wrap around windscreen gives good vision and helps to keep everyone dry. The moulded dash has plenty of space for motor gauges and marine electronics while front bucket seats give ample support for a comfortable ride.
A rear door gives easy access to the large cockpit and the rear lounge hinges to give more space at the rear of the boat boat for fishing.
